One of the biggest myths in Chiropractic is that when you go once you have to go the rest of your life. If my dentist told me to brush my teeth because of the build of debris, do I have to do it? If my personal trainer showed me how to lift properly, do I have to do it? If my nutritionist told me to eat certain foods that match my body and blood type, do I have to do it? The obvious answer is NO.
Once we stabilize the upper neck area and restore proper neurological function in your body. We recommend protecting the work that we have accomplished. Imagine if you worked really hard to get a 6 pack type of body. What would happened if you decided to stop working out? You would loose it. I had braces on to correct the abnormal alignment of my teeth and chose not to be diligent wearing my retainer and now the bottom row of my teeth are out of alignment and I would need braces to fix it. Being proactive about your health is much better than reactive and waiting for secondary conditions to show up.
